Summary
Sir James Blake, having retired from Scotland Yard, devotes his efforts to assisting his niece Hope and her colleague Jerry in the development of an experimental apparatus of their own design. Convinced that the device possesses significant potential as a means of preventing international conflict, Blake intends to present the invention to the League of Nations.
The project is disrupted when a criminal organisation, directed by the elusive figure known only as “the Scorpion”, steals the prototype. Blake, together with his associates, undertakes the task of recovering the apparatus and uncovering the true identity of the Scorpion.
The serial was also re-edited into a film of the same year.
