Summary
In the seven‑part mystery series Chameleon, three competition winners, Anja (Ursula von Reibnitz), Silvie (Ulrike Kriener), and Kathrin (Verena Plangger), are abducted and replaced by their doppelgängers. The operation is orchestrated by Chameleon, a clandestine organisation led by Professor Züngel (Moc Thyssen), which has been conducting this elaborate scheme successfully for years.
The three kidnapped women manage to escape and begin pursuing their impostor counterparts, who have committed a bank robbery while assuming their identities. Determined to clear their names, the women set out to expose and dismantle Chameleon, whose activities now threaten to destroy their lives entirely.
