Summary
The narrative concerns Yun Hae‑jun, the youngest news anchor at his broadcasting station, and Baek Yun‑yeong, an employee at a publishing house who once aspired to become a novelist. The two unexpectedly travel back in time to the year 1987, where their respective objectives diverge: Yun Hae‑jun undertakes an investigation into a series of unsolved murders, while Baek Yun‑yeong attempts to prevent the marriage of her parents, believing that altering their relationship will change the course of her own life.
As they navigate the past, the pair gradually realise that their individual missions are interconnected, and that the resolution of the murder case and the fate of Baek Yun‑yeong’s family are bound together in ways neither initially anticipated.
