== Summary ==

After witnessing her mother’s murder and surviving an attempted killing thanks to a mysterious saviour, Catherine Chandler grows up to become a detective with the NYPD. Nine years later, an investigation leads her to Vincent Keller, an ex‑soldier officially declared dead, but very much alive and hiding an extraordinary secret. As Catherine uncovers the truth about Vincent’s past, she is drawn deeper into the circumstances surrounding her mother’s death and the reality of who, and what, Vincent truly is.
