== Summary ==
''Captain Mikhail Soloviev Jr.'' (Pavel Derevyanko), a Moscow City Police officer in ''2011'', has spent three years pursuing a serial killer known as ''Red,'' responsible for the murders of young women across the capital. During the attempted arrest, Soloviev’s partner is killed, and Soloviev himself is struck by a passing motorist. He later awakens in hospital to find that he now occupies the body of his father, ''Mikhail Soloviev Sr.'', a captain in the Moscow Municipal ''Militsiya'' in ''1979''.

Uncertain whether he is dreaming, delusional, or has genuinely travelled through time, Soloviev Jr. must navigate the unfamiliar social and professional environment of late‑Soviet ''Moscow''. His comatose 2011 body allows him intermittent access to present‑day conversations among relatives, colleagues, and medical staff, reinforcing his belief that both realities coexist. Forced to resume police work in 1979, he confronts crimes of the era while attempting to understand the cause of his ''temporal displacement'' and determine how he might return to 2011 in his own body.
