== Summary ==

Dynaman is a comedic parody dub of the Japanese series Kagaku Sentai Dynaman, created for U.S. television in the late 1980s. Only six episodes were produced, airing on the USA Network’s Night Flight block and later on Nickelodeon’s Special Delivery.

In this fantastical series, Dr. Ho recruits five young Japanese adults to defend their nation against his corrupted former colleagues, Bernie Tanaka and Mel Fujitzu. Once brilliant scientists, Bernie and Mel were disfigured in a laboratory accident and turned to villainy, absconding with Dr. Ho’s experimental gene‑splitting machine. Retreating to the centre of the Earth, they use the device to spawn grotesque monsters and bizarre reptilian creatures.

To counter their schemes, Dr. Ho equips his recruits with colour‑coded costumes, code‑names, and multifunctional gadget watches. Together they pilot the mechanised fortress known as the Dynaship, transforming into the spandex‑clad Dynakids. Their mission is complicated by Bernie and Mel’s allies: Nigel Cochrane, a self‑styled rock singer producing illicit music videos, and Cy Steinberg, a one‑eyed crab monster who kidnaps orphan girls to appear in these productions.

Despite their lack of ordinary timekeeping devices, the Dynakids embrace their new roles. After deploying smoke bombs in dazzling displays of coordinated colour, they rescue the abducted children and defeat Cy Steinberg. Ultimately, they thwart Bernie, Mel, and Nigel’s plan to flood MTV with cheaply made, illegal videos, securing both Japan’s safety and the integrity of popular music.
