== Summary ==

“Earth comes under threat from the alien Borzoku, prompting five young humans to be infused with stellar energy that grants them Kurumagic powers. These abilities allow them to transform into the Carranger team, who also operate publicly as the Pegasus Racing Team. 

Their leader, Kyosuke (Kishi), serves as Red Racer, the team’s foremost driver and test pilot. Naoki (Masujima), the Blue Racer, is a speed specialist and the Pegasus team’s principal designer. Minoru (Fukuda), the Green Racer, manages the team’s business affairs and often provides comic relief. Natsumi (Motohashi), the team’s mechanic, becomes Yellow Racer, while Yoko (Kurisu), the team accountant, transforms into Pink Racer when numbers alone cannot solve the crisis. 

The Carrangers are occasionally assisted by the enigmatic Signalman (Otsuka), a Ranger‑like interstellar policeman who operates independently. Their adversaries are the Borzoku and their weekly monsters, supported by multicoloured Wampa foot soldiers. The alien princess Zonette (Nanase), though aligned with the villains, secretly harbours affection for Red Racer.”
