== Summary ==
A group of humans engages in a sustained conflict against emerging parasitic entities of unknown origin. These organisms inhabit human hosts, deriving sustenance from them while progressively amplifying their own capabilities. As the parasites expand their influence, the affected humans organise to resist the threat, attempting to prevent the life‑forms from consolidating power and destabilising human society.
