Summary
In a world gripped by a deadly epidemic, a hybrid strain of dengue and malaria, Mia (Julia Montes), a dedicated security officer at Jacinto Pharmaceuticals, fights to save the one person who matters most: her son, Xavier. As fatalities rise and the company withholds its life‑saving vaccine for undisclosed reasons, Mia pleads with her superiors for a single dose. When her request is denied, desperation drives her to steal a case of the medicine, a decision that costs her life when she is murdered by Franco in a crowded market.
The vaccine works, saving Xavier, who grows up to become the public face of his mother’s sacrifice. By 2045, he has become a renowned scientist and inventor, creating a mysterious holographic device, one that unexpectedly reveals news footage of Mia’s own death.
The timeline rewinds to 2020. Mia, now aware of her fate through the holographic stick, resolves to change the future. Determined and far more cautious, she retraces the events leading to the epidemic, uncovering clues, exposing hidden agendas, and fighting to save not only her son but as many victims as she can before history repeats itself.
