Summary
Set in a world shaped by the legacy of post-Cold War attempts to understand and influence the human mind, the series explores a society in which psychological research, technological advancement, and the pursuit of power have altered the nature of truth, freedom, and human agency. As competing interests seek to exploit these developments for their own purposes, individuals find themselves navigating an increasingly uncertain and manipulative environment.
Against this backdrop, a group of protagonists is forced to confront a fundamental choice between opposing paths represented by Chance and Air. As questions of free will, control, and survival become increasingly significant, they must determine their own futures in a world where fate no longer provides clear direction.
