Summary
Three late‑Ming officials, Yuen Sung Woon, Joh Gwong Dau, and Lee Jun Chung, accidentally travel four centuries into modern‑day Foshan. They meet Fong Wai Chi, who is searching for a master chef. When the officials see a TV celebrity who resembles the missing crown princess Kwok Sin, Fong Wai Chi falsely claims she can arrange a meeting in Hong Kong. Hoping to save the princess, the men sign employment contracts and join her failing restaurant.
Fong Wai Chi’s real goal is to use Lee Jun Chung’s exceptional cooking to restore the restaurant’s reputation. Under new identities, the trio quickly turns it into a popular “handsome men” restaurant, drawing aggressive competition from rival food corporations. With Yuen Sung Woon’s help, Fong Wai Chi survives the pressure, and the two develop a subtle bond.
Meanwhile, Joh Gwong Dau uncovers the truth about Kwok Sin and learns their historical fates. When the moment comes to return to the Ming Dynasty, the three officials face a difficult choice between duty and the lives they’ve built in the modern world.
