Summary
Hong Siu Lung, a modern G4 agent, is accidentally sent 2,000 years into the past during a secret time‑travel experiment. Stranded in the Warring States era, he becomes entangled in political intrigue, forming alliances and enemies while trying to preserve history so he can return home. Discovering that the real Ying Zheng is dead, Hong is forced to guide Zhao Pan into becoming the future Qin Shi Huang. When his return device fails, he chooses to remain in the past with the women he loves. As Zhao Pan grows into a ruthless emperor, Hong withdraws from court and is eventually exiled, living peacefully on the grasslands—where it is revealed that his son will one day become Xiang Yu, the conqueror who topples the Qin Dynasty.
