Summary
Combining live‑action and CGI animation, this groundbreaking action‑comedy series follows thirteen‑year‑old Mark Hollander (Tom Wansey), who has recently moved from England to North America. While playing his favourite video game, Ace Lightning and the Carnival of Doom, he stumbles upon a level that shouldn’t exist. As he explores it, a lightning strike surges through his computer, bringing the game’s characters into the real world.
Believing the real world to be another level of the game, Ace Lightning (Michael Riley) recruits Mark to help him battle Lord Fear and recover the scattered pieces of the Amulet of Zoar. At the same time, Mark struggles to maintain a normal life at school and at home. His first friend in his new environment is Chuck Mugel (Marc Minardi), a self‑proclaimed Ace Lightning expert, while his romantic interest is Samantha Thompson (Shadia Simmons).
