Summary
In 1902, Adam is lured by the alluring Louise to a secluded house, where his arch‑nemesis, the masked megalomaniac known as The Face, injects him with an experimental immortality serum and entombs him in a block of ice. In 1966, workmen uncover the frozen figure at a construction site, setting the stage for Adam Adamant’s dramatic return—only to find himself thrust into the bewildering, fast‑moving world of the Swinging Sixties, portrayed as a vivid collage of sights and sounds.
As Adam begins to navigate this unfamiliar era, he acquires two companions. The first is Georgina Jones, an enthusiastic admirer whose grandfather once regaled her with tales of Adam’s heroic exploits. In the second episode, Adam encounters William E. Simms, a former music‑hall performer and versatile jack‑of‑all‑trades, who soon becomes his loyal factotum.
