Summary
This series was a satirical reinterpretation of the Don Quixote archetype. Don Quick, a maintenance engineer serving with the Inter‑Galactic Maintenance Squad, takes it upon himself to act as Earth’s self‑appointed ambassador during his planetary assignments. Convinced of his diplomatic calling, he repeatedly inserts himself into the social and political affairs of the worlds he visits, inevitably creating chaos and complications for both himself and the local inhabitants.
