Summary
In the early 22nd century, widespread dissatisfaction with technologically produced “artificial entertainment” led humanity to seek more organic forms of diversion. Intergalactic zoological institutions subsequently emerged as a dominant cultural phenomenon, each competing to display increasingly rare and exotic extraterrestrial species. The most prominent of these facilities was the IZI, directed by Dr. Wilson Theroue and supported by his chief tracker, Bjorn Straak, widely known as the “Alien Hunter.”
