Summary
An alternative‑history drama centred on a television writer living in a Britain that lost the Second World War and now exists under Nazi rule. As he prepares to advance his long‑running historical soap opera into the wartime period, both his ostensibly sympathetic Nazi overseers and the underground resistance scrutinise every aspect of his portrayal. His moral dilemma deepens when he inadvertently provides information that leads to a colleague’s arrest, and intensifies further when his lover (Blair) reveals that she is Jewish.
