Summary
A month after the death of his wife, Max, a police major in Brittany, France, is assigned to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl. At the same time, his daughter, Wendie, attempts to rebuild a sense of normality in her high school life, only to find herself caught up in a series of increasingly strange and frightening events.
While Max pursues the trail of a possible serial offender, Wendie and her friends begin uncovering evidence that suggests a supernatural force may be at work. As she experiences the emergence of unexplained abilities linked to ancient myths and legends, Wendie struggles to keep her secret hidden from her father.
As the investigation deepens, the mysteries surrounding the missing girl, the supernatural occurrences, and Wendie's growing powers become increasingly intertwined. Despite their shared grief and the emotional distance that has developed between them, Max and Wendie are gradually drawn closer together. To uncover the truth, they must confront long-buried secrets and rebuild their fractured relationship, ultimately rediscovering what it means to be a family.
