Summary
The series is set primarily on an agricultural asteroid where the Foxwood family maintain a small cottage and adjoining barn. Daisy the cow resides on a neighbouring farm, while the asteroid’s artificial atmosphere is regulated by a weather‑control machine located within the Foxwoods’ home. A nearby asteroid, known as Gorp Dale, serves as the dark, damp homeland of the Gorups.
The principal characters include Sam, his wife Lizzie, their son Tom, their dog Dinko, Daisy the cow, and a group of blue chickens referred to as Clucks. Additional recurring figures are the Gorups, as well as Splodger and Biff, two troublemakers who frequently steal food and create disturbances on the farm.
