Summary
At the outermost boundary of the universe lies a metaphysical establishment situated behind time and before space, a liminal venue where patrons may accumulate debts not settled within a single lifetime. This location is known as Bar Karma.
The bar becomes the property of Doug Jones, a billionaire whose reputation for extraordinary luck culminates in his winning the establishment through a wager. Jones soon discovers that ownership entails responsibilities far beyond conventional hospitality. During each happy hour, an individual at a pivotal juncture in life enters the bar, drawn to a moment of karmic decision. The staff of Bar Karma assist these visitors by presenting visions of their past, present, and multiple potential futures, enabling them to confront the consequences of their choices.
The central premise explores the question of whether fate can be altered, using the bar as a narrative framework in which seemingly ordinary encounters lead to profound personal transformation. Although episodes frequently begin with the familiar trope of a person walks into a bar, they invariably conclude with a decisive shift in the visitor’s life trajectory.
