Summary
In the 2040s, two decades after World War III, Spain endures widespread radiation, disease, and severe resource shortages. A repressive government seizes power and imposes martial law. Madrid is divided into two walled sectors: one reserved for the wealthy and politically connected, who live in relative security, and the other for the general population, who face poverty, instability, and the constant threat of forced disappearances.
