Summary
Beacon 23 follows Aster and Halan, two individuals whose lives become irrevocably intertwined after they are stranded together at the outermost edge of the known universe. Aster’s unexplained arrival at a remote interstellar beacon brings her into contact with Halan, its solitary keeper, who maintains a lighthouse‑like outpost in the darkest reaches of space. As the two confront their isolation, a tense psychological struggle emerges, with Halan increasingly uncertain whether Aster is an ally or an adversary. Her capacity to obscure her intentions and conceal her true objectives positions her as a potentially formidable opponent.
