Summary
Lone warrior Dar (Daniel Goddard), last surviving male of the Sula tribe and the legendary BeastMaster, senses that his abducted love Kyra (Natalie Mendoza) is alive among the enslaved captives of the Terron warriors. With the aid of his animal companions—ferrets Kodo and Podo, tiger Ruh, and eagle Sharak—Dar attempts to rescue her from the Terrons’ leader, King Zad (Steven Grives).
During an early confrontation, Dar forms a telepathic bond with Ruh, confirming his identity as BeastMaster. He also encounters Tao (Jackson Raine), who becomes his companion and guide. Their efforts are complicated by the manipulations of the Sorceress (Monika Schnarre), who seeks to obtain Dar’s animal‑communion powers. She employs illusions and unleashes the fiery Chimera to capture or destroy him.
Dar locates Kyra in a Terron encampment but is temporarily blinded by a black fog trap. With Tao’s assistance—and a counteracting white fog potion—he returns to confront the Sorceress and battles the Chimera, ultimately destroying the creature. King Zad escapes once more with Kyra, leaving Dar with only a magical talisman bearing her likeness. Dar and Tao retreat to the Mydlands, where Dar vows to continue his search.
