Summary
The series centres on two investigators who examine UFO phenomena and paranormal events. Laura Wingate, a committed believer in supernatural and unexplained occurrences, divides her time between academic teaching and specialised research in anomalous phenomena. Her investigative partner is a sceptical university professor whose methodological approach provides a counterpoint to Wingate’s convictions, establishing the programme’s central dynamic of belief versus scientific doubt.
During the third season, the investigative team is joined by Celia, who serves both as their research assistant and as the receptionist for their field office, providing administrative support while participating in selected inquiries.
