Summary
A teenage boy, Tommy Dawkins, discovers that he undergoes a dramatic transformation into a werewolf whenever he becomes angry. His condition is inadvertently revealed to Merton Dingle, the school’s resident outcast and self‑styled occult enthusiast, who quickly recognises the supernatural nature of Tommy’s affliction. Determined to assist, Merton becomes Tommy’s confidant and advisor, helping him manage his transformations and prevent the wider community from learning the truth.
Together, the pair work to conceal Tommy’s lycanthropic identity from classmates, teachers, and the broader public, navigating the challenges posed by his unpredictable metamorphoses while attempting to maintain a semblance of normal teenage life.
