Summary

Young inventor Daisaku (Miyamoto) constructs an elaborate multi‑function machine designed to automate his morning routine, including waking him, brushing his teeth, and propelling him out of the house with a backpack already secured. His scientific curiosity also extends to attempts at creating a kaiju‑like creature by administering a chemical mixture to his pet iguana, Buska.

Due to the accidental inclusion of expired baking soda, the experiment produces an unexpectedly benign result. The transformed creature, later known as Booska, is gentle and personable, distinguished by large round eyes and a buck‑toothed expression reminiscent of a squirrel. Despite its amiable nature, Booska possesses considerable physical strength and wears a magical crown composed of the fictional element Buskanium. This crown grants the ability to reduce its size to approximately 50 centimetres, echoing transformation motifs found in series such as Monkey.

Booska exhibits simple preferences, notably a fondness for noodles and a dislike of turtles, characteristics that contribute to its portrayal as a friendly and comedic monster figure.
