Summary
Kim Woo‑ri, a 20‑year‑old university freshman, aspires to live an ordinary, independent life. Her plans, however, are constrained by the widespread social and economic disruptions caused by the COVID‑19 pandemic, which severely limit her ability to pursue personal freedom.
Following a heated argument with her mother, centred on Woo‑ri’s desire to move out and live on her own, she attempts to regain a sense of normalcy the next day by ordering her favourite meal. In an unexpected turn of events, this simple act becomes the catalyst for a temporal displacement: Woo‑ri is abruptly transported back to the year 2002, setting the stage for a narrative that intertwines personal growth, generational conflict, and the exploration of an earlier era.
