Summary
Set in the year 2220 A.D., the series depicts a future in which humanity has mastered interplanetary travel, established settlements throughout the Solar System, and unified under a World Government headquartered in Delhi. Numerous space installations support this expanding civilisation, including a maximum‑security penitentiary on Io, one of Jupiter’s moons. The facility houses twelve of the Solar System’s most dangerous criminals, each a specialist in a particular field, who are kept in suspended animation. When a meteorite strike devastates the station’s security systems, the prisoners escape, triggering a crisis of unprecedented scale.
The World Government assigns its foremost law‑enforcement officer, Captain Vyom, to track down and recapture the fugitives. Vyom is the son of a leading Earth scientist and the grandson of the ruler of a parasitic species from the 13th dimension, a civilisation said to be ten million years more advanced than humanity. Raised in a Ladakh monastery, he possesses exceptional yogic discipline and heightened mental focus. Accompanied by a specially selected crew, Vyom departs aboard the starship Ulka to begin his mission across the Solar System.
