Summary
Private detective Akira (portrayed by Hagino) is engaged in what initially appears to be a routine missing‑person investigation, though he suspects a connection to a series of recent child kidnappings occurring in the same district. During the course of his inquiries, Akira collides with a vehicle operated by the covert SAIDOC task force and is unexpectedly enveloped in a phenomenon identified as crystal power.
The incident grants him the ability to transform into Chagerion, a warrior of light designated to counter the predations of Gingar, a malevolent entity born of darkness. Gingar is revealed to be only one among numerous ancient creatures emerging from prolonged dormancy within a nearby Dark Dimension, prompting Akira to assume his new role in defence of the human world.
