Summary
The series follows Ding Chong Xi and Lin Yu, whose relationship spans from high school through university. Their lives are disrupted when a car accident leaves Lin Yu in a coma. In an attempt to save her, Ding Chong Xi uses advanced virtual reality technology to transfer her consciousness into a simulated alternate reality, hoping the experience will help restore her awareness.
However, each time Lin Yu approaches the point of awakening, a programmed sequence is activated that resets the entire simulation. As a result, Ding Chong Xi is forced to relive events repeatedly, reconstructing the virtual world in an effort to reach a different outcome. Over time, he discovers that each reset carries unforeseen consequences, complicating his efforts and diminishing the likelihood of successfully bringing Lin Yu back.
As the cycle continues, Ding Chong Xi must confront the limitations of the technology and the growing risks associated with altering reality, while searching for a way to save Lin Yu before the opportunity is lost entirely.
