Summary
Billions of years ago, Earth was home to an advanced prehistoric civilisation whose technological achievements far surpassed anything known today. Their most extraordinary creation was the Chou Seishin, also known as the Ultra Star Gods, colossal bio‑mechanical entities engineered as the ultimate guardians of the planet. The existence of such powerful constructs drew the attention of other spacefaring civilisations, who came to regard Earth as a potential threat.
In response, an alien armada launched a pre‑emptive strike to eradicate the civilisation and neutralise the Ultra Star Gods. Although Earth deployed the Chou Seishin in its defence, the conflict ended in defeat. The ancient civilisation was destroyed, and the Ultra Star Gods fell into dormancy deep within the planet’s crust, where they remained undisturbed for millennia.
In the present day, descendants of that lost civilisation still walk the Earth. These individuals possess latent genetic abilities that allow them to manifest the powers of the Gransazers and to awaken the long‑slumbering Chou Seishin. As a renewed extra-terrestrial threat approaches, the Gransazers gather once more to confront the danger and defend the planet.
