Summary
Clangers is a British stop‑motion children’s television series centred on a family of small, mouse‑like creatures who live on and within a tiny moon‑like planet. They communicate in a distinctive whistled language and subsist on green soup, prepared by the Soup Dragon, and blue string pudding.
The original programme aired on BBC1 from 1969 to 1972, followed by a special episode in 1974.
The series was revived in 2015–2016 with a 52‑episode run, followed by a further 26 episodes in 2017 and another 26 episodes in 2019, along with two additional specials.
