Summary
Robert “Scandal” Jackson, Jr., a former Navy SEAL, went A.W.O.L. after refusing an order to destroy an enemy command centre that contained civilians. He fled to the Alaskan wilderness, altered his identity and appearance, and built a new life as a teacher in a small Inuit community. His past eventually resurfaced, and he was shot in the face and left for dead. Three weeks later, he awoke in hospital with reconstructive surgery and a new identity, thanks to a woman named Danielle LaPoint.
Danielle recruits him into Cobra, a covert anti‑crime organisation dedicated to securing justice for victims failed by the legal system. Although reluctant to abandon his quiet Alaskan existence, Scandal is persuaded when Cobra’s director, Dallas Cassell, offers him the opportunity to pursue the man responsible for his father’s murder five years earlier. Operating from behind the wheel of his classic A/C Cobra, Scandal delivers justice throughout the fictional Bay City, California.
