Summary
Set in the near future, Code 404 centres on two elite investigators, DI John Major (Daniel Mays) and DI Roy Carver (Stephen Graham). When Major is killed in the line of duty, his body becomes part of an experimental artificial‑intelligence programme designed to bring him back to life. Although the procedure succeeds, the resulting AI‑enhanced Major lacks the investigative instincts and professional competence of his former self.
