Summary
Ninomiya Minato serves as a detective with the Kanagawa Prefectural Police. Orphaned at a young age, he grew up unable to trust others and lived a life marked by emotional instability. His circumstances began to change when he met Yuka, with whom he formed a deep romantic relationship. Through her support, Minato gradually regained the ability to trust people.
Five years into their relationship, Yuka becomes pregnant, prompting Minato to vow that he will build a happy future for her and their child. However, Yuka suddenly dies in a mysterious accident. Determined to uncover the truth behind her death, Minato begins investigating and discovers a mysterious application known as Code, said to grant any wish.
Meanwhile, Shiina Kazuki, a magazine journalist, is independently pursuing the truth behind the enigmatic Code application.
