Summary
The series follows the adventures of Scotty, a laid‑back former private investigator, and Kronk, a methodical and rule‑bound C.I.D. officer, both operating within a covert government organisation. Their efforts are frequently complicated by their well‑meaning but inept assistants, Inspector Blood and Sergeant Hound.
Each case ultimately leads back to Syrie Van Epp, a wealthy and seductive antagonist whose schemes, though initially concealed, are consistently uncovered and thwarted by Scotty and Kronk. Despite their successes, Syrie invariably evades capture, returning to challenge them again in subsequent episodes.
