Summary
Birger discovers that his childhood bedroom in his parents’ house possesses the extraordinary ability to launch itself into outer space, navigable through the controls of his table lamp. During his interstellar voyage, he encounters Iris, who travels upon a colossal floating hand, and he is ultimately transported to an immense space station positioned at the threshold of a black hole.
