Summary
Brain, the most advanced computer ever created and the most intelligent entity on Earth, abruptly severs its ties with humanity and vanishes. Tasked with locating the renegade super‑intelligence, the elite organisation known as The Red Mufflers begins a desperate pursuit. Their mission becomes even more urgent when Brain unveils a formidable army of colossal, lethal robots—among them a towering machine marked with a bold “17” across its chest, designed to subjugate the very species that created it.
Amid this escalating crisis, a young boy who has lost his family to Brain’s followers accidentally awakens Daitetsujin 17, a giant robot with the power to oppose Brain’s mechanical legions. From that moment on, Daitetsujin 17 becomes his steadfast protector, appearing whenever Brain’s minions threaten his life.
As Brain’s ambitions grow and its robotic forces tighten their grip, the bond between the boy and Daitetsujin 17 may be the last hope standing between humanity and total domination.
