Summary
Queen Braguda and the Anomalkans attack Marte, seeking the Adranikas’ power. To prevent this, Adran gives the white stone to Aio, who escapes to Earth before Marte is destroyed. Pursued by Braguda, Aio’s ship is disabled upon entering Earth’s atmosphere; the white stone falls to the ground and is found by young Narda. Aio survives the crash and instructs Narda to guard the stone until she is called to inherit its power.
Eight years later, Aio, disguised as an elderly beggar, contacts Narda telepathically, revealing that she is the chosen protector of Earth. The stone displays the word “Darna,” directing Narda to swallow it and speak the name, transforming her into the superheroine Darna. She reverts to her mortal form by saying “Narda,” releasing the stone.
When Braguda learns that Darna holds the white stone, she sends her minions, including Mambabarang, Dr. Zombie, Sulfura, Nosforamus, and Valentina, to seize it. Braguda intends to merge the white stone with her black stone to reshape Earth into a new Marte and mutate humanity into Anomalkans. Despite these threats, Darna defends Metro Manila and retains the stone.
