Summary
As the world’s remaining energy reserves dwindle, vast untapped oil and gas fields beneath the Arctic seabed become the focus of escalating geopolitical tension and a renewed Cold War atmosphere. In response, a research submarine crewed by leading scientists and specialists from Britain, Russia, and the United States is dispatched to the depths in search of a solution to the global energy crisis.
