Summary
Xu Hai Lin, a gifted ballerina, saves businessman Lu Xi Wei from a fire, cares for him during his recovery, and the two fall in love. He proposes, and Hai Lin soon discovers she is pregnant, until a car crash kills Xi Wei and causes her to miscarry. Grief‑stricken and ready to end her life, she meets a mysterious man who offers her a chance to return to the moment she first met Xi Wei. She accepts, hoping to change fate, but the altered timeline leads Xi Wei to fall for her older half‑sister instead.
Hai Lin repeatedly tries to win him back, failing each time. Only when Xi Wei faces a major setback does he finally recognize her devotion and fall for her again. They prepare to marry once more, until Hai Lin dies in an accident. Xi Wei then encounters the same mysterious stranger and accepts an offer to bring her back, sacrificing years of his own life. The two are finally reunited, though Xi Wei emerges aged by the cost.
