Summary
The series explores the concept of parallel universes and the possibility of worlds that closely resemble one another while remaining entirely separate.
Jiang Xiao Yuan struggles with her sense of identity as she travels between parallel universes that never appear to intersect. In her original world, she is a wealthy and seemingly invincible heiress; in another, she finds herself living as an ordinary working woman with little to her name. During her journey, she encounters the mysterious Qi Lian, and the two work together to uncover the truth surrounding the circumstances of her existence.
Stripped of her wealth, family background, appearance, and education, Jiang Xiao Yuan embarks on a journey of self-discovery as she attempts to uncover the fragments of her true identity.
