Summary
inc. Dimension Detective Wecker D02 (as season 2)
Set a century in the future, the discovery of a temporal distortion over Japan—soon designated a “time hole”, enables a new form of temporal displacement known as Chrono Travel. Criminal organisations quickly recognise the gateway’s potential, exploiting future technologies and foreknowledge to orchestrate sophisticated crimes in the present day.
To counter this emerging threat, an elite enforcement unit known by the codename “Wecker” is established as the Time Dimension Police, tasked with preventing and investigating offences committed through Chrono Travel.
This premise forms the foundation of the limited action‑adventure science‑fiction television series, produced as a follow‑up to the original WECKER programme, which co‑starred Hiroshi Watari, best known for his lead role in Toei’s Space Sheriff Sharivan (1983–1984).
