Summary
Sixty‑five million years ago, an asteroid impact ended the reign of the dinosaurs and ushered in the age of mammals. DinoSapien explores an alternate evolutionary path, one in which certain dinosaur species survived and gradually developed into intelligent, humanoid beings.
The series follows 15‑year‑old Lauren (portrayed by Vancouver’s Brittney Wilson), whose father vanished during a fossil‑hunting expedition under mysterious circumstances. As she struggles to accept the likelihood of his death, Lauren finds support in her close friends, Courtney (Medicine Hat’s Mackenzie Porter), Kit (Vancouver’s Bronson Pelletier), and Chris (Watson), all of whom work with her at the dinosaur‑themed camp operated by her mother.
