Summary
During a summer evening, Marc plays hide‑and‑seek with his best friend Julien and his younger brother Gabriel. The game ends in tragedy when Gabriel disappears without a trace, leading to the family’s breakup and Julien’s departure. In the aftermath, Marc remains with his mother, Micheline, and devotes himself to ufology in an effort to understand his brother’s disappearance.
Fifteen years later, while Marc is close to abandoning his research, he receives an anonymous message suggesting a new lead. With Julien returning to his life, Marc resumes his search for answers.
