Summary
“Dok Go Bin Is Updating” is a comedic drama that follows the unlikely friendship between Ha Deok Ho, an earnest but socially oblivious college freshman, and Dok Go Bin, an AI robot with a remarkably warm personality. Although Dok Go Bin was designed to be a groundbreaking fusion of advanced hardware and software, he was unexpectedly released with the designation “Incomplete,” leaving his true capabilities shrouded in mystery.
Ha Deok Ho, kind‑hearted and endearingly awkward, quickly finds his life transformed by Dok Go Bin’s presence. Their circle also includes Jin Yoo Ra, widely known as the “Goddess of Social Media” and the most admired student on campus, who also happens to be Deok Ho’s long‑standing crush. Yang Na Ri, the diligent president of the student council and Deok Ho’s senior, adds further complexity to their campus dynamics. Overseeing it all is Dr. Kim, the brilliant scientist who created Dok Go Bin in hopes of reshaping his own future through the robot’s success.
