Summary
Arno, an unassuming high‑school student, nursed an earnest crush on his classmate Loise, who, unfortunately for him, adored their classmate Donny, a boy far more enamoured with himself than with anyone else. Determined to outshine his rival, Arno fantasised about becoming a superhero capable of sweeping Donny aside. Acting on impulse, he slipped into the school chemistry lab and concocted a potion that granted him superhuman strength. Armed with his newfound power, a homemade costume, and an official superhero licence, he reinvented himself as Duksedrengen.
His first act of heroism came sooner than expected: rescuing Loise from two troublemakers who were tormenting her with a rubber spider attached to an air pump. Triumphantly, Arno fled the scene with his arm stretched forward like Superman, punctuating his escape with an enthusiastic SWOOOOSH.
