Summary
Erasmus Microman is a time‑travelling scientist who transports children through history to meet influential figures from the scientific world. Operating from his secret TV lair, Microman guides his young companions across different eras, using their journeys to illuminate major scientific discoveries and the lives of the individuals behind them.
First Series
In the initial storyline, Microman brings two children, Jane and Ben, into his hidden domain. From there, the trio embarks on a sequence of temporal expeditions, each encounter introducing the children to great scientists whose work shaped human understanding. These episodes blend adventure with educational exploration, presenting scientific history as a living, interactive experience.
Second Series
The second series reintroduces Microman, now described as 1,005 years old, returning from a tenure as Inspector of Black Holes for the Universal Space Federation. His new mission is more urgent: to pursue the deranged Dr. Dark, an interloper from a parallel universe who intends to plunge Earth into a new age of darkness by eliminating all forms of communication.
