Summary
Centuries from now, humanity has expanded across the Solar System, forming three dominant political blocs: the United Nations of Earth and Luna, the Martian Congressional Republic, and the Outer Planets Alliance (OPA), a loose coalition of settlements dispersed throughout the asteroid belt and the Jovian and Saturnian moons. Earth and Luna constitute a capitalist system with authoritarian tendencies, while Mars has developed into a disciplined, militarised, and corporatist society. Both inner‑system powers systematically exploit and marginalise the ‘Belter’ populations of the OPA in their pursuit of strategic resources.
