Summary
Astronaut Molly Woods, serving with the International Space Exploration Agency (ISEA), completes a thirteen‑month solo mission aboard the orbital research platform Seraphim. Upon returning to Earth, she reunites with her husband, John Woods, a robotics engineer who has developed their son Ethan, an advanced prototype android known as a “humanich.” Shortly after her homecoming, Molly learns that she is inexplicably pregnant despite a long history of infertility, prompting her to undertake a determined search for the truth behind her condition.
